2-1What, why, when
Plan
Choose an area, a period, repeat days, a target action rate and what to record — then write one line on why. Do it alone and it's a solo plan; do the same plan with others and it's a group plan.
01Why Zaksimi
Quitting after three days isn't a willpower problem.
It happens because you start alone, treat one missed day as the end, forget why you started, and can't see where you're slipping. Zaksimi blocks all four — not with willpower, but with how the app is built.
02What is Zaksimi
Zaksimi cares about practice more than results. From the moment you set a plan it brings in someone to stand with you, has you log each day's action, and keeps the cheers flowing until the plan's last day.
2-1What, why, when
Choose an area, a period, repeat days, a target action rate and what to record — then write one line on why. Do it alone and it's a solo plan; do the same plan with others and it's a group plan.
2-2Every day, even a little
Check off the day and attach notes, photos, numbers, times or places. Miss a day and the plan still stands as long as you're within your target rate — and day, week, month and year calendars show the flow.
2-3Never alone
Supporters and crew see your actions and send likes, cheers, stickers and gifts. Every plan opens a chat room and a board where you share the day.
The names used inside the app. Learn them once and every screen reads itself.
03The four moments plans fall apart
Every plan seems to fall apart in its own way, but look closely and it comes down to four moments. Zaksimi answers each one with a single principle.
You decide alone, and you quit alone. Nobody would know, so quitting is easy.
Zaksimi's principle
Even a solo plan needs at least one supporter before it starts. People with the same plan form a group plan and become crew. No one to join you? Find someone through public plans. The state of 'nobody knows' is designed out.
What makes it work
The moment the streak resets to zero, many people delete the app. One flaw reads as total failure.
Zaksimi's principle
You set a target action rate when you create the plan. At the default 80%, you can rest two days in ten and still be on target. Missed days stay on the calendar, but the plan goes on and your grit isn't taken away. 'Just do it again' is the app's default attitude.
What makes it work
The first resolve fades within three days. What's left is the weight of 'I should.'
Zaksimi's principle
Write a life goal when you join, a reason for every plan, and a slogan to see when you act — one line each. They're always on the action screen, and reminders arrive at the times you set. A daily quote you pick once a day becomes a small ritual for getting started.
What makes it work
You know 'it's not going well lately,' but not which weekday or which plan is dragging you down. What you can't see, you can't fix.
Zaksimi's principle
Action rates and streaks by area and by plan show up as numbers. Kwansimi reads those records and writes what to do today, a check-up on plans in progress, a look-back on finished ones, and how far you are from your life goal. Every piece ends with a next step.

04What the research says
The four principles weren't chosen on a hunch.
Research on goal attainment points to five conditions that keep people going — Zaksimi builds all five into how the app works. For each study we also say what it can and can't claim.
Goals set because someone told you to, or to save face, tend to fade; goals you truly want tend to last. In a study that followed college students pursuing their goals over a semester, those whose goals matched their own values kept up more effort all term, achieved more, and felt more satisfied afterward. Psychologists call these 'self-concordant goals.'

More sustained effort
when it's your own why, not someone else's → more achieved → more satisfaction

When athletes tell themselves short phrases like "You've got this" or "Reach all the way" — self-talk — it can lift their performance. Pooling 32 studies on the topic, researchers found that without self-talk 50 in 100 people beat the average, but with self-talk 68 in 100 did — and 79 in 100 when the phrases were chosen and practiced in advance.

Helping people regularly ask "How far have I come?" after setting a goal made them more likely to reach it — that's the finding across 138 randomized studies with about 20,000 people. The effect was bigger when progress was written down rather than just kept in mind, and bigger still when it was shared with others.

A weight-loss study compared people who signed up alone with people who came with three friends or family members. In the group that came with friends and did team support activities plus a team maintenance challenge, 66% kept their weight off in full for six months after the program ended — versus just 24% of those who came alone. Another experiment found that even working apart, just feeling 'we're in this together' made people stick with a hard task 48% longer.

Going beyond checking progress — getting feedback and deciding what to do next — made a bigger difference. Across 138 randomized studies, adding feedback or a next-step action plan to monitoring made goal attainment effects larger. Another analysis of 122 studies with about 45,000 people also found that programs using goal review or feedback were more effective.

Feedback changes tomorrow
goal attainment effects were larger when people got feedback and set a next step than when they only checked progress
In Zaksimi
The studies above are general research on goal attainment; they did not measure the effect of using Zaksimi. The life-goal study involved U.S. college students, the self-talk study sports tasks, the supporter study mostly health-related goals, the togetherness studies a weight-loss program and laboratory tasks, and the review studies mostly health goals such as physical activity and diet.
Plan → Act → Review, one loop
The five conditions above don't work alone — they turn as one loop. Set each plan by your life goal, act with joy amid cheers, and review to make your next plan stronger. Every turn of the loop helps you move a step closer to your life goal.

05Compared
An app that's just a checkbox is easy to start. Zaksimi is built for the finish, not the start.
| Typical habit app | Zaksimi | |
|---|---|---|
| 5-1 Getting started | You write a goal, alone | You invite a supporter or start with a crew |
| 5-2 The standard | Every day, no exceptions | A target action rate you set yourself |
| 5-3 When you miss a day | Streak resets to zero | It stays on the calendar, but the plan goes on |
| 5-4 Your 'why' | Never asked | Life goal, plan reason and slogan — written down and always visible |
| 5-5 Records | One checkbox | Notes, photos, numbers, time, place, GPS, even QR — your choice |
| 5-6 Together | Add friends, rankings | Supporters' cheers, crew alongside you, a chat room and board per plan |
| 5-7 When you waver | A one-line reminder | Kwansimi reads your records and writes why, and what to do next |
| 5-8 When it ends | Make a new goal | A look-back, a review and a life-goal check — then on to the next plan |
'Typical habit app' sums up how widely used habit trackers generally work. It does not refer to any specific app.
06What Zaksimi stands by
So we decided first what we won't do.
Your action rate is counted over the whole plan. Missing a day never takes away the grit you've built. The only time grit goes down is when you delete your own records.
A skipped day reaches your supporters quietly, as a chance to cheer. Rankings show who did well — they never rank who didn't.
For each plan, choose everyone, crew, supporters or only you. You can also share just whether you acted, and keep notes, photos and record details private.
It reads your plan details, practice stats, age group, gender and life goal. Action notes, photos, chats and cheers are never sent. Advice written ahead for the morning can be turned off in settings.
The studies we cite are about goal attainment in general; they did not measure Zaksimi. We use only figures confirmed in the papers, and we state the sources and their limits.
Plans, action records, cheers and practice stats are available to everyone regardless of tier. Paid tiers add more of Kwansimi's writing and more storage.
07Who it's for
7-1 You keep stopping when you go it alone
Knowing one supporter is watching changes things. A cheer on a skipped day gives you a reason to start again.
7-2 You want to build the same habit with family or friends
Create a 'Read every day' group plan and invite them as crew. Who acted today shows on one screen.
7-3 You lead a study group, club or team
As group admin you see the crew's actions at a glance, get weekly reports, and schedule nudges with the group tools.
7-4 You need numbers to get moving
Action rates by area and by plan, streaks and period stats build up — and Kwansimi puts those numbers into words.
7-5 You want to log privately and tell no one
Even a solo plan needs one supporter. You can narrow visibility to 'only me,' but a private notes app may suit you better.
7-6 An unbroken streak is the whole point for you
Zaksimi puts action rate ahead of streaks. Streaks are shown too, but we don't use them to pressure you.
